There were signs that the United States and its allies were going to take considerable measures towards the attack. President Barack Obama stated that the usage of chemical weapons was a "red line" and prompt serious consequences will follow. The Syrian government along with United States citizens are awaiting a response from Washington. President Obama met with his top military and national security advisers on Saturday to debate his options. U.S. naval forces had been repositioned in the Mediterranean to give Obama the option of an armed strike. There are a lot of videos showing the results these chemicals had on the people in Damascus. It is really scary to watch. It is just as scary to know that US getting involoved might lead to World War 3. Hopefully it will not get that far. Using this article was a good choice.
