Economy

Whether one realizes or not, the economy is part of our every day lives. The economic state in which people live in dictates their lives. It consists of production, distribution, trade, and consumption of goods. One may think that they have nothing to do with this, but little do they know that they live under the power of the economy. Based on the economy, people build their lives, buying houses, starting developments and buying stocks and shares. To put it in a simpler form, the prices of the clothes and shoes that I may purchase rely on economics. The groceries and gas that my parents pay for are all under the wings of economics. Peoples paychecks and wages are also affected by the economy. The economy results in processes in culture, education, technological evolution, history, social organization and political structure. All of these aspects that are vital to our lives are strings attached to the current economic state. These factors set parameters and conditions to how the economy functions. While these factors rely on the economy, the economy relies on higher standards and circumstances. Whether our countries economy is at a good or bad resting state, dictates how we as a society will go along living our lives. By stating that mere fact, it is safe to say that the economy has a remarkable role in our lives.

  1. It is scary to scope out every little aspect of our lives that is drastically affected by the economy. As stated, its influence is widely ranged from the course of politics to the shoes we want to buy. One must not be oblivious to how economics shapes our state of stability, security, and comfort. Rita successfully emphasized the importance of the dollar bill by listing the necessities it covers - food, shelter, education, and so on. Therefore, the blog is organized and understandable. Nice work!

  2. When people open their eyes, they realize that any moment or event in their life is manipulated by the economy. In reality, this situation is extremely frightening knowing one cannot live their life the way they have dreamed of it occurring. From a person's most meaningful milestone to feeding a car's tank, the control is all in the hands of the economy.

  3. I commend Rita for professional tone and crisp diction. Rita perfectly, yet simply, portrayed the economic aspects of our lives with examples and personal experiences. It is truly surprising to finally realize how every bit of peoples' lives revolves around the economy and economic stability. Great work depicting the economical influences of the people.

  4. Rita did a fantastic job on giving the meaning and description of the economy. She also mentioned a brief explanation of her family's economy and the different aspects in people's lives which are connected to the economy. In this blog post Rita successfully got her point across to her readers that people's lives and financial balance is depending on whether the economy is good or not.

  5. This is a fantastic analysis as to how greatly our lives are affected by the economy. As stated, the groceries and gas our parents pay for rely on the economy. If it were to ever drop or be in bad circumstances our parents would possibly not be able to pay for those necessities any more. Our lives and the way they function are solely dependent on the conditions of economy. If the economy takes a tumble, so do we.

  6. How sad that we live in a capitalist economy. True capitalism has clearly not worked over the years, because monopolies form and small businesses get overpowered (best evidenced by John D. Rockefeller and Andrew Carnegie). Today, due to anti-trust policies and legislation, capitalism simply makes the world unequal and unfair. The poor stay poor, the rich get richer. If only the world adopted peaceful socialist policies, then we would all live in a better place.
